I am a self proclaimed TV and Movie geek. I am sucker for new content and I believe I could spend the rest of my life ‘Netflix and Chilling’. Fortunately that is not an option I give myself, and hence filmmaking. Filmmaking is something that I am extremely passionate about, almost to a fault. The only thing I’m thinking about when on a film set is, when can I get back on another one as soon as possible. In Los Angeles, I’ve had the opportunity to produce, write and direct a handful of projects. I’ve also worked on a dozen other films ranging from being a script consultant/content developer in a couple to being a gaffer, key grip and production assistant on the rest.

I recently completed a Masters in Film and Media Production from the prestigious New York Film Academy based in Burbank, CA. My most recent project was, When ‘HE’ Intervened, that I produced, wrote, directed and edited. It is a supernatural comedy that revolves around the lives of Mira and Neil, two people who are at the rockbottom of their respective love lives. The date that they are currently on is a disaster, until HE decides to intervene and play matchmaker. The film, was a passion project, and I am extremely proud that it’s received some good reviews among critics and in film festivals. Here’s a screenshot of the film.

I am also extremely passionate about the English language and constantly feel the need improve my vocabulary playing games like Scrabble, Crosswords etc. I am a voracious reader(or at least consider myself one) and over the past 5 years have been extremely influenced by the work of literary greats like George R R Martin, Paulo Coelho and Robin Sharma.

I have also been a sketch and caricature artist from the time I remember holding a pencil. I also enjoy a wide range of music genres from Hip-Hop to Alternative Rock. My favorite artists are Eminem and Linkin Park. To ensure that the machine functions effectively, I also enjoy playing sports like Basketball, Cricket, Table Tennis and Volleyball. Like every other guy, I thoroughly enjoy gaming; I tend to be extremely competitive and it helps me relieves stress!

For inspiration, I look up to author Paulo Coelho. His literary works like The Alchemist, Brida etc have had a huge impact on my life, and have inspired my passion in creative writing as well.
